In this class you will receive one of four grades: Honors (H), Satisfactory (S), Needs Improvement (N), or Unsatisfactory (U). You will also receive a conduct grade.

Performance Grade

HONORS
- Achieve 90% of the possible score
- Receive a 1 in conduct
- Participation and cooperation in class discussions and group projects
- Successful completion of all work, including group work

SATISFACTORY
- Achieve 70% of the possible score
- Completion of all work, including group work
- Participation and cooperation in class discussions and group projects 

NEEDS IMPROVEMENT
- Achieve 60% of the possible score
- Completion of the project

UNSATISFACTORY
- Below 60% of the possible score
- Work, including group work, is not complete

Conduct Grade

1 - Talk only at the appropriate times and pay attention. Cooperate with your partner and classmates. Raise your hand to speak.

2 - Talk but stop when reminded. Cooperate with your partner and classmates. Pay attention most of the time. (Verbal Warning)

3 - Constantly talking even after reminded, often inattentive. Use appropriate signals for assistance. May require supervision to stay on task. (Think Sheet)

4 - Highly disruptive and rude. Interferes with classroom learning. Requires constant supervision to stay on task. (2nd Think Sheet Signed by Parent/Guardian)

Note: Your actions determine your conduct grade. A grade of Needs Improvement (N), Unsatisfactory (U), 3, or 4 in conduct will keep a student off of the honor roll.
