Instructions:

Go through the following steps carefully with a classmate. Once you feel you have mastered Ergonomics, put your sign up to indicate that you are done. Once the entire class is ready, we will engage in a little friendly competition. Four ateams will be formed and will compete against one another. One person will be awarded the title of “Judge.” The “Host,” also known as “Your Teacher” will ask the teams to perform an Ergonomic Exercise. The team with the quickest sign up will be allowed to demonstrate the exercise. The Judge will determine if the exercise was performed properly. If not, other teams will be given a chance. If the exercise was demonstrated correctly, the team will be awarded points. The team with the most points at the end of the exercises wins a special prize.

Step 1: Ergonomics

The International Technology Education Association defines Ergonomics as, "the study of workplace equipment design or how to arrange and design devices, machines, or workspace so that people and things interact safely and most efficiently."
