Step 1: Keyboarding Rules & Tools
Go to the following website and explore this site. You will complete an online quiz after you finish
exploring. Once you finish exploring, make sure you come back to this website and click on the link for the online quiz.

Step 2: Krazy Keyboarding for Kids
Go to the Krazy Keyboarding for Kids website
and click on Lesson 1 to learn the Home Row. Make sure you read all directions. Your teacher will be walking around to make
sure you are keyboarding properly.
Important: When you finish Lesson 1, go on to Lesson 2. Be sure to use the tabs at the top of the page because the links at the
bottom do not work. Keep working in order until you finish all of the sixteen lessons.

Step 3: Learn 2 Type
Go to the following website. Once you get there you will see a box that
says “Typing Test.” You will also see a section that says “[click here to start timer]. You will type the
paragraph available to you in the box where it says [click here to start timer]. Once you finish typing, click “Test
me!”. A screen will appear with your results. Read over your results and then print for your teacher. Be sure to write
your name on it.
Once you have submitted your results, go back to
the Learn 2 Type website and click “[Click here to load a new typing exercise].” Notice if you improved and show
the screen to your teacher.
